    Costa Rica is an amazing paradise for tourists who make the country a world popular tourist destination. Located in the Central America isthmus, Costa Rica is situated between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Costa Rica is a fortunate destination because of its location that is the country lies in the middle of the Western Hemisphere. Varied landscapes, mild climate, and of course the wildlife makes Costa Rica a perfect getaway for a magnificent vacation.

    When it comes about the wildlife, no wonder, Costa Rica is one of the best in it. Those who love to explore the other living beings can head to Costa Rica and get fascinated. Health tourism and eco-tourism is the major part that boasts in this small country. Costa Rica is considered as the land of peace and is the oldest democracy in the entire Latin America. With this, the country has over 100 years of political stability. The economy of the country is rapidly increasing and due to the booming of tourism industry. Tourists visiting here never miss to experience the beautiful wildlife. There are plenty of different species that could be found in the country.

    Costa Rica offers greater biodiversity, which is more as compared to Europe or North America. There are millions of people in this world who love to explore different kinds of bird species. Costa Rica is thriving with bird species and for this reason, the country is a favorite destination for many people. You will get amazing scenes of birds like resplendent quetzal, exceptional harpy eagle, more than 50 species of hummingbirds, 15 parrots, six toucan species, 75 various kinds of flycatchers, 45 tanagers, 29 antbirds, and 19 cotingas.

Costa Rica national parks, wildlife refuges and private reserves offer safe habitats for most of the endangered species in the world. The country boasts 893 species of birds that have been recorded. Out of this number, seven of the species are endemic and 19 are threatened worldwide. The national bird of Costa Rica is the ubiquitous Clay-colored Robin. Those who are planning to visit this country and experience most of the bird species must know that what the different species that could be found in Costa Rica.
